South Sudan - Welcome to the World of Nations!
The African continent will welcome its newest country on July 9, 2011 when the the southern region of Sudan gains its independence and becomes the new Republic of Southern Sudan. The image on the left is a picture of the White Nile River winding its way through Juba, the capital city of the Nation of South Sudan.
What will the future hold for South Sudan now? I really don't know I recently returned from botswana safaris and was speaking to some of the rangers I met, they thought it was a bad move but I'm not sure
